Awning Styles

An awning is a sheet of canvas or other material stretched on a frame and used to keep the sun or rain off a storefront, window, doorway, or deck. But its uses are not limited to protection from weather. Awnings create a styling and attractive way to decorate your business or building. They provide signage and market your business. Deciding on an awning style is a hard choice. You want to choose a style that is right for your business, whether it be a store front or a hospital. Use these examples to help find the right awning for you.

The fabrics we use for awnings and canopies at Baltimore Canvas are acrylic and vinyl. Fireresist is an acrylic fabric we use when it is required that the awning is fire-proof. These fabrics come in unlimited color choices and can be painted with any text or graphics. Metal canopies are also available: Baltimore Canvas uses Mapes quality products to fabricate these.
